Initial launch

Launching the initial version of the game today. The game is in a really rough state. But gets across the basics of the gameplay loop I want to play around with.

With this being my second game, I want to avoid some of the progress roadblocks I hit with the first one, which was a platformer made in 30 ish hours for a gamejam.

This time around I'm putting the game up this early so I have a bigger incentive to push myself to improving and polishing the game faster than I would if it was just lying around on my HDD with noone having fun with it.

The biggest thing I'm doing differently is scope though. I've splitt the creation of the game into the smallest possible chunks I can see coming, so I can pick up a little stack of notes during the 1 hour I have each morning, and just hammer away at adding listeners to buttons, setting up references to objects, drawing base sprites etc.
This process makes it a lot easier to get stuff done. Which is just another incentive to keep going with it. Improving things is so much easier like this imo.

I hope you enjoy the game, even in its really rough current state. Feedback is greatly appreciated, especially if you've got some ideas for fun upgrades to add to the game.
